BOTOX, PRP, HYALURONIC ACID, NANOFAT (LIPOTRANSFERENCE)

In this section you will find all the information about the cosmetic procedures that I perform as a Plastic Surgeon.

Sun damage, the effects of gravity and facial movements are some of the consequences that our body suffers during the unstoppable aging process. Also, the bad habit of caring for the skin causes the natural characteristics of the face that keep it healthy to be lost and then undesirable spots, sagging and expression lines appear.

Today there are different facial treatments that can help improve the physical appearance of the skin as the case may be. If the damage is slight, the care is simple and can even be performed by the patient himself. On the other hand, if the damage goes beyond pronounced wrinkles and furrows, more complex interventions are required.

The degree of aging and the recovery goals of the skin that we estimate will determine the type of treatment and the combination of techniques to be used. Among the most used facial treatments are:

.

Botulinum toxin: It has been used safely in people for more than 10 years. It is an injection that helps stop muscle spasms and improves wrinkles or furrows that appear or are aggravated by the mobility of the face.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP): Through an intradermal injection of PRP together with the application of plasmagel, the production of collagen is stimulated and they generate a “filling” effect to improve deep facial furrows and deep wrinkles.

Microneedling (dermapen or vampire facial): or collagen induction therapy is a minimally invasive facial rejuvenation treatment. It is performed with a sterile titanium microneedle system. The needles create small holes in the top layer of the skin causing it to react by creating more collagen and elastin.

Mainly, an “electric pen” is used, which has nine small needles at one end, whose depth can be adjusted for different skin types and objectives. By using this tool, the production of collagen is stimulated, in an attempt to our complexion. to heal what are, essentially, microscopic and controlled "wounds" in the dermis.

Frequently, these treatments are combined with the application of platelet rich plasma (PRP), which is inserted into the dermis through the needles, and which would have rejuvenating properties. Anyone with moderate loss of skin tone or elasticity can benefit from microneedling, as can those with mild to moderate acne scars. In addition, it could be useful to prevent or delay the signs of aging in the skin, so it could be used in people of all ages and of both sexes.

Hyaluronic Acid: its degrading fillers (duration 6 to 8 months). It is applied to fill light and deep wrinkles as well as to fill furrows and increase the size of the lips or cheekbones.

RELLENOS FACIALES.jpg

Nanofat: it is a new type of "fat" graft, which has become one of the new regenerative or revitalizing skin treatments. This type of treatment, although it is obtained from fat, would not be a purely fat graft since it consists of the injection of stem cells and not of fat cells themselves. Indeed, these stem cells will be obtained from the fat extracted through minimal liposuction. Once this fat is emulsified, it is re-injected into the areas that we want to treat to rejuvenate the skin. Therefore, Nanofat allows us to smooth and correct wrinkles, as well as to treat skin pigmentation to obtain an improved face and / or décolleté, erase dark circles and hide scars.

Lipotransference: the patient's adipose cells are used, extracted by means of a small liposuction, these cells are applied for the same purpose as hylaronic acid (filling wrinkles, furrows and giving volume) with the difference that the results are permanent.

Facelift with intradermal laser: A novel procedure performed with an intradermal laser with which, taking advantage of the heating generated in the tissues, it produces a remodeling of collagen and therefore its rearrangement, generating facial tightening. It can be done combined with other treatments, depending on the assessment of each patient.
